Our Mission:
- Provide a forum through the seasonal meetings for the presentation and discussion of basic, translational, and clinical sciences related to urology;
- Provide educational forums concerning scientific advancements related to the field of Urology;
- Improve collaborative investigations among academicians with an emphasis on the interchange of expertise among clinical and basic scientists.
Our duty:
Our duty is to provide daily services to the Academy and to support the standing committees via the channel they choose, regardless of where they live. We value diversity, promote equality, and challenge discrimination.
Our Strategy
1. Improve connections via webinars
Monthly webinars will be held free of charge to the SAU members via zoom online meeting.
2. Develop the careers and enhance the wellbeing of Trust staff
Annual conference will be organized as the primary event for deep connection and one-on-one consultation.
3. Enable innovation in basic and translational research within the Academy and the wider healthcare system
Scientific events will be developed to establish collaborations within the SAU community and the other societies.
Management Council and Standing Committees
The SAU is organized by our dedicated members. The Management Coulcil oversees all the activities and assumes all the responsibilities in the decision making and future directiuon. The Management Coulcil consists of five senior members. In addition, the Academy has one advisory board and five standing committees. The standing committees are Nomination & Membership, Research & Publication, Education & Conference, Finance & Fund Raising, and Award & Promotions.
Membership Dues
Annual: $100/year. Life-time: $1000.Membership Benefits1. Discounted registration fee for the annual conference, workshops and other events organized by the Academy. 2. Participation in networking activities, grant writing workshop, high-impact publishing advising, etc.3. Collaboration opportunities with the peers in the field.
